Banit Hatt

A merchant dealing mainly in Trade Goods‡, Banit and his brother Awler were encountered in the township of Taid when The Hunted went in look of healing supplies.

The simpler of the Hatt brothers, when The Hunted met Banit he was being berated by his brother for his stupidity.

Banit had purchased a Wooly Rhinoceros in another town to pull one of their wagons, thinking that its great strength and terrible temper might make it a good combination of beast of burden and guard animal. On arriving in Taid he thought the animal looked depressed and so let it out of the harness securing it to the wagon in the hopes that allowing it to stretch its legs might perk it up. The beast had then gone on a rampage, charging through a market square, shattering stalls and threatening the townsfolk who converted the remains of the stalls into hastily-erected barricades.
