Splitting The Party

While Kul'theras, Hand of Kali and Tharin drink in The Salty Shag, Munt occasionally interjects with his own observations, at one point mentioning that he can "disappear". When asked to demonstrate he mixes up a concoction in his mouth, dribbles it back out into a small leather cup and then downs it, turning invisible and laughing as he moves away from them bragging about his cleverness.

Magni joins them and begins drinking heavily, talking about Thor and his belief that Tristopher Caulken must still be alive as Magni feels his time isn't up. This begins a discussion about theology, and the transient nature of water. Just after Kul'theras retires to his room, a group of men enter The Salty Shag and the high spirits in he bar are noticeably dampened as they glare about the place. The resident musicians strike up The Heroes Of Eastedge and don't get to the second verse before the apparent leader of this group slams his tankard down, spitting at them and telling them to stop their racket.

This individual begins to brag that he could take any of the "so called" Heroes of Eastedge in a straight up fight, that he'd knock the tar out of them. He does not appear to be aware that The Heroes Of Eastedge are in fact present. Magni yells out that he'd take that bet.

Splitting Skulls

After some menacing talk and a bit of confusion as to a romantic entanglement between Magni and Tharin, the leader of this scruffy lot claims not to have enough wealth to wager 100GP on a fight, but seems confident that he could best this mouthy dwarf. Magni is equally confident that he is wrong about this. Things are brought to a head when Tharin casts Invisibility on Magni and the ruffian swings wildly trying to hit the dwarf but missing.

Despite all eight of the sea dogs joining in the fight immediately, The Hunted lay waste to them with efficiency. Magni pounds his opponents, taking on his bestial aspect but relatively careful not to go all out as he wants to avoid killing them. The Hand of Kali asks for permission to join the fun before slaughtering one of Magni's attackers and then incapacitating another with a masterful grapple as Tharin Greases the floor bringing two of Magni's opponents crashing onto their backs as he tells Munt to go and find Landra. Kul'theras appears, roused from his meditations, and swiftly looses blunted arrows into the fray, helping Magni finish the last couple off as the Hand of Kali rhythmically beats the head of her captive against the floor until he passes out. Tharin calls for guards as Munt disappears into the night in search of Landra.

Raider Delivery Service

It becomes apparent that these men were previously in the employ of Garrett, and were in his other ship The Saucy Wench away from their hideout when The Hunted attacked. The guardsmen take the unconscious pirates captive as they praise the efforts of The Hunted, recognizing them from the stories and songs as The Heroes Of Eastedge. It is suggested that they should report in to Sever Oeaga Treandra in the morning and let him know what happened. Magni and Kul'theras head to the temple of Thor for some healing courtesy of a glyph the guardsman scribbles down for them.

In Memoriam

All except for Tharin attend the funeral ceremony for Tristopher Caulken, with Magni and Landra both called on to say a few words and given a blessing by the master of ceremonies. Sever congratulates them on apprehending more of Garrett's raiders at The Salty Shag and suggests that they should go past his office as he has a package there for them.
