Harrying The Harridan

The Hunted continue to fight Helrún and her Undead servants (both real and illusory), despite facing regular eviction from the "head" as she smashes and re-forms it. Eventually, drained of most of his spells and an even greater percentage of his life-force Tharin decides that teleportation is the better part of valor and attempts to teleport back to Glimmerhold. He fails to arrive at his intended destination, but after a Hero Point is spent to influence the consequences of being off-target he finds himself on the deck of The Magnitude.

Regrouping

After some amount of additional combat, Kael and Landra decide the best thing to do is to head back to Glimmerhold and warn the residents. Kael has more success with his teleportation and they arrive on one of the bridges leading into the city, only to find the gates barred and the guardsmen manning them do not appear to be open to the idea of allowing them entry. Moments after this conversation a commotion is heard inside, and the gates are opened by a small band of citizens who have subdued the guards to allow them entry. Landra recognizes their leader Dorin as one of the servants present at the feast King Ezelgar threw in their honor.

They discover that the King and many other nobles have retreated into their better-fortified quarters, behind a wall of loyal guardsmen. Around this time The Magnitude is spotted heading towards the city, and they decide to head to the roof to meet it, spotting Tharin on the deck from quite a distance away.

Rooftop Recharge

As Landra & Tharin discuss their options (and Tharin's sudden disappearance earlier) Kael takes some time out for prayer and meditation. His piety is well-rewarded, when Thor grants him the power to restore himself and his companions to full strength. In addition, lightning shoots forth from his body to strike their airborne foes, knocking them out of the sky.
