Fly You Fools!

Obankot feeds a potion of Cure Light Wounds to Mammut who has been grievously wounded by a fly-by attack.

The heavily wounded Wyvern above Brannock takes to the air, apparently fleeing towards the top of the tower.

The remaining Wyvern attacks Bhetsy.

Tyrus fires at retreating Wyvern and misses almost as Brannock, Bhetsy and Ulfgar slam into the other. Ulfgar lets loose a mighty roar that demoralises his opponents and sends them flying away at full speed.

Obankot stands and draws back his bowstring, shooting at the fleeing Wyvern. Despite the best efforts of the party they are unable to take a Wyvern down completely.

New Rule

Obankot: "They were at the top of the tower."

Tyrus: "Yes"

Brannock demonstrates the benefits of talking things through before they do things, going so far as to suggest they start a new rule where they raise their hand and discuss things before doing them.

Obankot eventually peers into the gaping hole in the tower door, noticing bodies. Tyrus takes a turn and sees with his Cleric Eyes that they are all undead.

They take up positions around the door and Tyrus sneaks in and lets loose with Channel Energy, immediately running back out to join his companions. Peering back into the darkness he realizes that several of the zombies have incandesced and turned to ash.

They slay two further zombies and then see a skeletal dwarf stepping towards them with ancient armor hanging off it. Tyrus recognises this as a Rustwatch Skeleton, sometimes found in ancient crypts and temples. He's aware that it will resist any damage not inflicted by adamantine weapons.

Brannock, Obankot and Ulfgar pound the deceased dwarven warrior into the ground, with Brannock striking the final blow.

In the silence that follows Obankot asks should they go in, Brannock cautions him to tells him to hold back.

Once More Into The Breach

After a few tense seconds Tyrus says he's going to check it out and steps inside, but seeing nothing of concern calls back "It looks clear, head on in I think." prepared to let loose with the glorious power of Nephe at any moment.

Looking closer at the zombies some appear to have been Hobgoblins, with others appearing to be some other kind of humanoid. Unfortunately with the skin blasted clean off the skeletons it's too difficult to tell *what* they would have been.

Brannock has Bhetsy block the door as they look around the floor.

They note that there are stairs going up and stairs going down, so they have a choice to make; Brannock and Ulfgar both vote to go down and work their way up from there, so they begin to head down the stairs.
