Upli Esc investigates and discovers that the area has likely been used to stage ambushes for some time.
The party discovers that there are signs of up to one dozen goblins having used the ambush scene. There are signs of two human-sized creatures being dragged away down the trail.

Upli Esc suggests that they try to find their employer. If their employer is no longer capable of employment then they can move on with their lives without expectation of payment.
