Outside The Bank

• The Hunted were ushered inside where Mr Blackmont paid them their 60,000GP happily, leaving his assistant manager Yenid Wynch to find a place for the "samples" Magni had gathered. Jon Talbot is taken away by bank guards to have his injuries seen to.
• The remaining members of The Hunted who had not opened accounts, did so.
• The Hunted are sent to the Temple to Thor to have their injuries treated, as it turns out Mr Blackmont is a follower.

Temple of Thor

• Jon Talbot is present, healed and sight restored. He is grateful but shaken, eventually managing to remember some of the Common words that the creatures who captured him had used. Kul'theras gives him 200GP to try to get his life on track after finding out that Jon and his wife were both very poor.
• Tristopher Caulken is delighted to see The Hunted again and helps to heal their ailments, including Magni's constitution damage. He is able to provide directions to the Platinum Estate in Madrill.

Shopping

• Various purchases are made. Magni commissions a special Greatsword enchantment which will take 9 days to complete.

The Platinum Estate

• The Hunted again access to Jegan Kayal's room with his key, on entering the antechamber they see a sign repeated in various languages, a series of lockers, and a mouth which magically appears to intone the content of the signs: "Platinum Estate reminds you that extra-dimensional storage will not function inside the apartment, we encourage you to make use of the storage locker provided for such items and apologise for the necessary inconvenience."
• Opening the next door The Hunted encounter a strange visual effect, much like a heat mirage, and walking through it suddenly find themselves in a room rather than what might have appeared to be a corridor.
• Two envelopes are found on the floor:

1) Addressed "Mr Kayal"

2) Blank except for a symbol on the wax seal.

• Chest: MOLD!
• Fire. MORE MOLD!
• 127 damage done by Mold. Impressive really.

The Copper Whistle

• Detect Magic shows the "blank" envelope (#2) to be have an aura of Illusion.
• Landra reads Letter #1

"We hope you are enjoying your stay, and remind you that your accomodation is paid until the end of the week. We would of course be delighted to extend your stay, please let us know if we can be of any assistance.

• The Hunted sleep on it and consider their options for opening letter #2.
• In the morning, Magni grows tired of the fuss created by Letter #2 and takes it, carefully backing up 30 feet, and opens it.

• Eventually Landra discovers that turning the letter over, then over again in the same direction reveals a hidden message:

"UNACCEPTABLE! The half-blood elf MUST be brought to me in decent condition, and the Dwarf and Halfling MUST be alive. The death-worshipper & the elf you may kill, but do your best to keep their bodies intact.

You have two weeks to meet me in Diamondgate, below the Serpent. Do not disappoint me."

• The Hunted discuss travel options. 400GP per person to use teleportation rings seems to be popular.
