Dumpster Diving For Fun And Profit

Landra investigates the pit full of war machines and finds a medium-sized Warhammer which Kael wants her to be careful with, as well as an Adamantine Dagger.

Kael mentions that if Landra can't use it well he would like first option on the warhammer she found, as it would assist in his anti-undead questing.

Things Are Heating Up

Moving further into the monastery they find an empty refectory and kitchen. They also find a dormitory with several dead dwarves who appear to have been murdered and frozen, though they're thawing now. When Landra examines one it would appear that it had its throat slit down to the bone, likely while sleeping. Comments are made that this doesn't seem like the modus operandi of your average dragon.

While Kael and Landra explores the dormitory to the east Tharin investigates to the west and comes across a Belker, which doesn't much time before attacking him. Landra and Kael come running to save him, and it is Binky who finally tears the thing apart.

Landra finds some Gloves which provide a bonus to Dexterity of +2. Kael takes these.

Out Of The Frying Pan

Proceeding down the other end of the corridor which leads onto the dormitory, refectory and kitchen, they enter a forge and the door slams shut behind them as swarms of tiny fire elementals pour from the forges. They don't attack our heroes directly, though they do make for quite a distraction while their three Huge cousins try to toast the intruders. When they finally go down the aroma of freshly roasted halfling hangs in the air, though Tharin does manage to get away with his life.

Landra finds alchemically-treated Adamantine ingots worth 3000gp, which she estimates to be enough for to have a weapon forged.

If The Mountain Won't Come To Muhammad

There is a massive shaking and a sound like the grinding of rock for some time, which grows lesser but does not abate completely, the room shuddering roughly every few seconds or so.

After Binky fails to pry the doors open, Kael uses Dimension Door to get them back into the corridor. They immediately notice that the corridor seems... different. They follow it cautiously back the way they came and unexpectedly find themselves at an archway leading out into the open air.

Peering outside, they come to the conclusion that the monastery of Sigrier's Pledge is on the move down the mountain, its stones and the stones of the mountainside itself shifting to the form of an enormous quadruped with a long barbed tail and a mouth full of jagged pipes for teeth which ooze a constant stream of noxious liquid.
