Little is known of the haughty elf who introduced himself as Charles Emery. He attempted to convince the party that he had a warrant for the death of Sero Flek, and very nearly succeeded in convincing Tyrus and Ulfgar not to interfere.

Ultimately he lost their trust when he refused to submit to questioning under a casting of Zone of Truth when Sero would. When this became clear, he attempted to flee under cover of an Eversmoking Bottle on his horse Dartanion, but died in the attempt.

Played by Brannock.
