Cheliax is a nation found on a continent within Werl other than Vanar - though none of The Hunted are currently aware of its actual location.
Described as the place where the etiquette against using mindless undead as weapons is not adhered to. The Chelaxian Empire is founded on the principle of Diabolism, ruled and administrated by demons and the like. While the empire has had expansionist phases, they are not perpetually at war with their various neighbours, which runs counter to the expectations of many.
