Initially introducing herself as Sarah, the Hand of Kali later admitted under heavy questioning by Magni that she is not human, and has shown to have the ability to change her appearance at will. To an observer, the Hand currently appears to be a nondescript human female of about thirty years of age. The Hand is slightly taller than average, lean, and appears built for speed with grey light armour, no pack, and very few possessions about her person. An effective looking long spear and a short bow lie across her back, and a net hangs from her waist, and she carries herself with an air of calculation; each step is precise and long, covering distance with frightening ease.

Her gaze flicks over you and you detect no emotion in her face as she speaks in short, clipped phrases with no accent or expression. You attempt to run but don’t even made it five feet before you are cut down by an enormous ornate curved blade that extends out from where her hand was only seconds before. As your vision starts to fade you stare up into an inhuman façade that still shows no emotion as it whispers a prayer over your dying body, “… may Kali take you into her arms.” is the last thing you hear before you leave the world of the living.

At Magni’s demand, the Hand of Kali explained to the hunted that she is one of many servants of the goddess Kali, built by a radical wing of the faith to wander the land acting as hands of the will of the Goddess. This tends to consist of ending lives and fulfilling prayers made to Kali. The Hand tends to follow the group without comment, but has disappeared on her own without explanation several times.

While lacking emotion or inflection, the Hand has recently begun to gain a small amount of personality, although how much of this is merely an addition to her disguise is unknown.
