Helrún was the high priestess of Sigreir’s Pledge when the dragon Angrammora attacked and destroyed it. When King Ezelgar spoke of her to Kael, Landra and Tharin, he did so with a fondness that suggested he may have once had feelings for her.

The Hunted later discovered that Helrún was actually left for dead by King Ezelgar after the Mistbreather Clan attacked the monastery. She was seeking vengeance against all occupants of Glimmerhold and so was killed by Kael, Landra, Magni and Tharin as she attacked the city.
