Imthaikalus' Lair

Charles went to talk to the Otyughs, in the dark. When confronted with eyestalks looming out of the darkness he breaks into a cold sweat. Kahaan takes him and steers him back into the room, sits him down and gives him a drink, talking to him about his lack of combat experience.

Sero is sitting next to the remains of Juxhil singing a jaunty sea shanty.

Charles sets out rations and calls everyone to the meal, and gets a bit particular about seating positions. When Sero refuses to come and sit Charles charges him, trying to throw a ration at his head, Sero trying to bit his hand. Both fail. Ulfgar fires a gout of flame over their heads and yells "Enough!"

Charles attempts to pull his penis out and urinate onto Sero. Charles spins and penis out, hands on hips says "What?".

Sero attempts to cast a spell on Kahaan, but fails. Kahaan lifts both elves by their shirts and informs them "If you don't stop behaving like children immediately they will cease behaving like 'anything at all'." before dropping them and storming away in disgust.

Sero and Charles exchange a glance, grin, and shake hands.

It is decided that they will attempt to walk out past the Otto and Ozzy with the dragon corpse.

Tyrus casts a Gentle Repose on Juxhil's remains and gently loads her into his sack.

Piles of crocodile are laying around as the Otyughs approach. Tyrus nods politely, and Charles says "Just passing through, thanks for the hospitality." The Otyughs back away towards their pile of crocodiles and crouch over them possessively, watching as they pass. When they get to the entrance Kahaan drags the dragon across the water.

While they wait for the carriage, they discuss the best course of action regarding Imthaikalus' remains. In order to be sure of finding someone who is able to fashion the dragon corpse into useful goods, their best bet is to head to Age-Honen.

When the carriage arrives Bill and Ben look impressed. The body is lashed to the top of the carriage as they ask about Juxhil and Ulfgar explains that she did not survive the fight as they and make their way back to the Lizardfolk camp.

The Lizardfolk Camp near Pithfield

The Lizardfolk catching sight of the corpse-festooned carriage look absolutely floored; half of them were worshipping Imthaikalus as a god the day before, and now they see him strapped to the top of the carriage, dead.

Ulfgar advises Alklathix that the "god" problem is solved. Tyrus asks if his body is where he left it, gets confirmation and casts Gentle Repose on it also, buying a shroud and loading it into the carriage next to Juxhil.

Charles berates the Lizardfolk for their belief in this false god, and mentions that they must now have options for alternative beings to worship. He claims that there is a great god "Emery", the god of seeking out false gods and getting rid of them. Ulfgar rather quickly seeks to get the party moving again before Charles gets them into trouble.

Meanwhile, Tyrus communed with the dead Kobold.

Q1: If you died would you want to come back?

A1: My work here is not finished.

Q2: Would you accept coming back the same way Tyrus did?

Q2: If that was the best option.

Q3: What is your favourite colour?

A3: Green.

Casting about for any other useful questions, Tyrus asks the others for suggestions. Sero immediately suggests one which sparks Tyrus' curiosity...

Q4: Did you ever love Sero?

Q4: Can anyone, really, truly, love that?

Meanwhile Ulfgar is chatting happily with Kahaan about how it feels to kill a Dragon. Kahaan does not have a fond recollection of the procedure. He in turn asks Ulfgar about his abilities as a Sorcerer.

Ulfgar mentions that he's not sure what to do with the Warhammer and Ulfgar tells the story of Brutus, and how he already has the Frosthammer which has a deeper sentimental value.

Kahaan draws his ornate greatsword and tells of it's great value to him, and how he will never part with it. He makes the point that it is not the only weapon he will carry, making an example of the battleaxe he carries. He tells that he used to have another axe which he took from the cold dead hands of someone who had done him wrong. It had a level of sentimental value for some time, but one day he threw it into a crowd of orcs and hasn't seen it since.

Sero tells them about the weapons he carries, spinning a wild and vibrant tale of his battle with a mutant Shocker Lizard that could not love, which led to him obtaining his Darksteel Rapier. He also explained the wisdom behind obtaining his whip, which allows him to keep his distance from his foes.

Ulfgar expressed his dismay that he is not more effective in melee, as he does not feel it particularly Dwarfy to slay enemies from afar with beams of eldritch fire. He acknowledges that his relatively new-found powers are the best way for him to contribute, but wishes it were not so and resolves to obtain more martial training as soon as possible.

Eathe

On the way to tell Camil Veston what transpired, Tyrus stopped through the mercantile quarter to purchase a new tabard for Juxhil in her favourite colour.

Tyrus gains an audience with Camil Veston and tells him of the battle against Imthaikalus in Pithfield, the way Ulfgar turned back the Lizardfolk army, and his own death at the hands of Brutus, de-activating his disguise and revealing his newly created elf form. In an unsettling moment for both of them he presented his own corpse, requesting that it be kept in a state of stasis while his Father is contacted by the temple and asked if he has any wishes regarding the natural remains of his son.

He also arranged payment to have Juxhil raised from the dead, as per his best interpretation of her wishes.

The party then had the dragon butchered and preserved, and set about selling the items they had acquired.
